S. Edwards

I live in Barnsley where I was born and brought up. I have many hobbies and interests, such as filming and creating multimedia products. I enjoy travelling and trekking. I am a member of a Kung Fu club, practising the style of Lau Gar, I have been a member for over a year now and have gained my 3rd sash (orange sash). I enjoy this very much as it is a good way to keep fit; I also have very recently taken up climbing.

I have been a student for the past four years and have recently finished a degree in creative multimedia technologies which I gained a First in. I also have studied Information Technology at A level and a City and Guilds in PC maintenance and Digital Electronics. When I saw the position of Trainee Technician on the SYFIT project, I was very interested in the post as it is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience. I am very pleased to become a part of the Project, as this has given me the opportunity to get the training and work experience, as well doing the CISCO course. I hope to achieve a qualification doing the CISCO course as well as gaining confidence in computer networking in a workplace.
