Trainee Personal Profiles

Lee Conway

Lee has left the project to take up full time emloyment at the school where he was on placement.

The project members wish Lee well in his new job. His details are left on this site for people interested in the project. Dave Miller, Project Manager.

My name is Lee Conway. I am aged thirty one years of age, have brown hair, blue eyes, well maintained hands and feet but bad teeth. I have lived most of my life in a small village outside Barnsley for most of my life, with the exception of a number of years living elsewhere.

I did appallingly at comprehensive school, receiving just one GCSE in English. However, after a year or two living rather aimlessly, I returned to college to undertake an Access certificate which got me into a University, from which I received a degree. From then until nineteen ninety seven I worked for a company which exported agricultural machinery, eventually leaving that pursuit to return to a life in Barnsley. In retrospect, returning to Barnsley was a little misguided, as from then until now I have done a number of very different jobs, from cleaning toilets to managing small businesses.

I have now begun a post as a Trainee Technician at Sheffield University, which I am finding to be most satisfying.

In my spare time I try to keep myself fit with running, yoga and some weightlifting, aswell as the practice of one of the lesser known Korean martial arts. I also use computers at home greatly, as I like to write music. Very loud music.
