This page links to some papers and resources relevant to discussion of the place of information literacy in society, and information literacy as an enabler of social change. Not surprisingly, we will tend to select papers which put forward the view that information literacy is a Good Thing for society, but welcome any reasonable suggestions of papers which could provide starting points for debate on this issue.
