- DEDICATE (Distance EDucation Information Courses with Access Through nEtworks) is a European Commission funded project which is investigating the feasibility of delivering a programme about some aspects of information literacy via distance learning. The UK partners (more involved in the 'distance learning' aspect) are at Sheffield University, and the Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden is responsible for the programme content. There is an article about DEDICATE by Nancy Fjaellbrant and Philippa Levy in the September 1998 (issue 17) of Ariadne.
